User tags

User tags mark each movie and show in Sonarr and Radarr with the users who have it on their watchlist. Set them up under Users > User tags.

Tag movies in Radarr and Tag shows in Sonarr add a tag for each user who has the item on their watchlist.

A tag is the Prefix and the user's name, for example pulsarr-user-jamie. Name from picks Username or Alias. Users without an alias fall back to their Plex username.

The format can't change while the tags exist in Sonarr or Radarr. Remove them first with Remove all user tags and Also delete the tag definitions.

Tag behavior decides what happens to a user's tag when they remove the item:

• Remove the tag removes it.
• Keep the tag keeps it as a record of who asked.
• Swap for a removed tag removes it, and adds the Removed tag once nobody wants the item, so you can find it. Delete sync in tag based mode deletes content with that tag.

Clean up orphaned tags on sync removes the tags of users who were deleted or renamed in Plex.

• Sync tags tags everything currently on a watchlist and clears tags that no longer apply.
• Create missing tags adds a tag in each instance for any user who doesn't have one yet.
• Clean up orphaned tags deletes tags left behind by users who were removed or renamed.
• Remove all user tags strips every user tag from movies and shows. Your content isn't touched. Also delete the tag definitions removes the tags themselves from Sonarr and Radarr too.
